We bought our first three family house. A 'fixer upper' as they say. It was the worst house on a good street. We renovated, repaired. refinanced, pulled money out and bought the next one, and the next one, and the next one . . .
Nine years, fifteen houses and thirty nine units later, all apartments are gutted, renovated, and rented. October 9th the Dow Plunges, the recession hits and the banks put a halt to lending. Our game plan changed ~ literally overnight.
We begin building new construction, additions and commercial projects. Through those difficult years the rental properties held their own.
During our renovations of these old houses, we have seen it all, and learned how to repair the worst conditions. From complete gutting to the final end product, we know how to build it. What we learned was simple ~ do it right the first time, and you won't have to come back.
Eric and Chris, owners of Saint Construction are two brothers who have both graduated from the University of Rhode Island. Eric in 1999 as a Pre-Med/Exercise Science major and Chris in 2001 as an Environmental Biology major.
They take pride in their work and have perfected their skills over the past eighteen years. From framing to Sheetrocking to fine millwork, they excel in all aspects. They love what they do and their work shows it.
We are a family business~ Linda (mom) handles the rental properties and manages the office. Bob Saint (dad) a construction executive with 35 years of experience managing construction is always there for consult.
YEAR - 2024 RECAP
We have three exciting projects this year. A restoration of a 1835 historic house in Mystic Connecticut. We are building a new construction energy efficient home ‘in the woods’ that will be a energy tight house, and then another house that we moved off it’s foundation, for a major renovation.

We are proud to introduce our latest project, a new construction situated on a serene 15-acre lot. Meticulously designed and crafted for optimal efficiency in heat and energy utilization, this building incorporates innovative features tailored to reduce environmental impact.
The exterior of the structure boasts double walls along with top-notch insulation and caulking, ensuring superior heat retention and minimizing energy wastage. Additionally, the installation of super-pane windows further enhances the building's energy efficiency by reducing heat loss and sound transmission.
With a strong focus on sustainability and cutting-edge construction techniques, this project exemplifies our commitment to creating spaces that not only meet modern needs but also contribute to a greener future.
